Yeah Spring Is Here?

Like my pessimistic friend, I am eyeing the calendar and wondering if I can believe it is really Spring.  I sat on the front porch with my coffee this morning and enjoyed the sun shining on my face and warmly soothing my sore knee.  Haven’t done this yet this year, I thought and not sure I’ll be able to do it again before July!  Such is the Chicago version of spring in 2018.

What I’d really like to see is the tulips and the magnolias coming into their own.  But they are not. Kinda sad.   And yet…most things worthwhile are usually worth waiting for.
